KATHMANDU — An earthquake with Lamjung as the epicenter struck Kathmandu on Wednesday morning.

According to the National Earthquake Measurement Center, a magnitude 5.8 earthquake centered around Lamjung at 5:42 am on Wednesday.

The quake affected Tanahu, Gorkha, Kaski, and Kathmandu Valley in Lamjung district. The shake was reported as the aftershocks of the 2015 earthquake.
