Arsenal vs. Chelsea
FA Cup Final 16/17
Venue : Wembley
Time : 1730 GMT
Chelsea comes to the match with a fit squad and high on morale after lifting the Premier League Cup on Sunday. On the other hand, Arsenal are devastated to have missed on the Champions League Qualification after 16 years. Not only that, they have several injury crisis to add to their woes.
Arsenal will be without their stand-in skipper Laurent Koscielny after the French defender received a red card in the last match against Everton in the Emirates. Likewise, Gabriel will miss out due to injury and German international Shkodran Mustafi is also least likely to feature. Alex Oxlade Chamberlain could feature in the final after recovering from an injury.
Per Mertesacker should feature in a 3 men defense after being out injured the whole season. David Ospina and Petr Cech will battle to get a spot between the sticks while Danny Welbeck and Olivier Giroud are in contention to start up-front for Arsenal.
Antonio Conte will not have same crisis as Wenger as he has bunch of fit players to pick his team from. The only selection headache could be to start Fabregas or Matic alongside Ngolo Kante. The latter is the favorite to start along with the player of the year Kante as the Serbian has formed a rigid partnership in the middle of the pitch for the Premier League champions this season.
