KATHMANDU — In a never-ending saga, CIB Nepal have arrested two French nationals Christophe Guilloux (42) and Denis Mathieu Michel Chupau (38) over pedophilia charges. The duo was arrested after they were found luring poor children and were under the radar of CIB. Altogether eight victims have come to contact and additional charges are being made.

CIB Nepal have filed a case against them in the Kathmandu district court and further investigation is underway.

Christophe Guilloux hails from La Mure and Denis Mathieu Michel Chupau comes from Nantes (France). Denis Mathieu Michel Chupau was arrested in 2004 for Sexual Assault on minors and possessing images of child abuse in France and served a jail term.

Christophe Guilloux had entered Nepal on a tourist visa on September 9, 2017, whereas Denis Mathieu Michel Chupau entered on October 25, 2017. Both were staying at Kageshwori Manhara Municipality in a local’s rented house.  

Christophe Guilloux and Dennis Mathieu Michel Chupau reentered Nepal on November 30, 2017, and April 12, 208 respectively and stayed at the same house.  

The duo guilty were found abusing children between ten to fourteen by buying them sports dresses, handing out cash, buying swimming costumes, taking them out for lunch, buying footballs, et cetera and in return performed masturbation and sex on them.

Nepal’s new law on pedophilia will be updated next month where the guilty will face twenty years jail term and compensation fee ruled by the court.
