DHADING — Altogether 30 dead bodies of the Ghatbesi bus accident that occurred on Saturday morning have been handed over to their relatives.
Police Inspector Barun Singh said that dead bodies have been handed over to the relatives for the final rites after the postmortem.
The bus (Na 6 Kha 1467) en route to the capital city from Rajbiraj, Saptari plunged into Trishuli River at Ghatbesi of Gajuri Rural Municipality-5 along the Prithvi Highway, killing 31 persons.
However, identity of a male of around 30 years is not ascertained yet. Body of the male has been kept in the Gajuri Primary Health Care Centre.
Likewise, three applications have been lodged in the Area Police Office, Gajuri, requesting to help search three persons missing after the accident. Police Inspector Singh said that a search for the missing persons is going on. RSS
