KATHMANDU — Minister of State for Education, Sheshnath Adhikari, has pledged to equip every community school with an e-library.

At a programme organised by the Education Ministry on the occasion of the 10th National Library Day today, the state minister underlined the need of setting up e-libraries in community schools to enhance their quality. The government’s concept of “one school one library” is materializing soon.

Officiating Education Secretary Dilliram Rimal vowed to come up with a library policy soon to improve the quality of school libraries.

Meanwhile, the Gyan Bikash Community Library has bagged this year’s best library award.

Likewise, the best library social service award has been presented to Bholanath Sharma while Surya Chhetri has been awarded the library server award and the library good friend award has been given away to Dinesh Raj Panta. RSS
