RATNANAGAR, CHITWAN — An e-library has been operated at Shirkot Community School in Rapti Municipality-7 in the district.

Nepalese living in Ireland had initiated to collect funds to operate the e-library.

Similarly, the district education office (DEO), Chitwan had contributed Rs 240,000 and locals had contributed Rs 348,000 for the same, said headmaster at the school Umakanta Bhattarai. As many as 15 computers have been managed for the e-library.

Similarly, Nepal-Ireland Society had provided scholarship to 15 meritoroius students from the marginalized Chepang community, said society representative KP Kiran Sharma. RSS
