Election programs reaches local levels, says CEC Yadav

KATHMANDU – Chief Election Commissioner Dr. Ayodhee Prasad Yadav has said that the entire programs including the candidates’ nomination for the local level elections have reached the grassroots level. At an interaction program with sexual minorities in regard to the local level polls at the Election Commission today, Dr. Yadav said that entire programs of the local level elections have reached the local level.

On the occasion, Dr. Yadav said that the local level polls were very important and historical for establishing rights and making laws at the local level itself. The Chief Election Commissioner said that the elections were being held based on the inclusive manner and added that 50 per cent seats for minorities, Dalit and women are allocated in the candidates’ nomination.
