RAMPUR, PALPA — The Kaligandi Eye treatment centre in Rampur has received a modern portable steel lamp to help with a medical examination of the eye patients.

The medical equipment worth Rs. 300,000 was received with support from Japanese citizen Dr. Ibata Rikabata, according to the president of the centre Hutaraj Pokharel. Japanese social worker Kajumasa Kakimi handed over the equipment to Mr. Pokharel on Tuesday.

The availability of the modern medical equipment will be helpful especially while running eye camps, said the hospital in-charge, Sundar Rana. RSS
