WASHINGTON (Sputnik) – Additionally, Facebook will start showing users “related articles” that counter posts believed to contain fake news.

“We will start using updated machine learning to detect more potential hoaxes to send to third-party fact checkers,” the post stated.

“If an article has been reviewed by fact checkers, we may show the fact checking stories below the original post,” the post explained.

According to Su, the linked articles will offer users different perspectives than ones they just read, but will not state that a particular article is a false news.

The feature will launch in the United States, Germany, France and the Netherlands beginning on Thursday.
