Five persons arrested with banned drugs


KATHMANDU — The Drugs Control Bureau of Nepal Police has arrested five drug smugglers from different places in the capital.

Darja Bahadur Tamang of Dhading and Raj Kumar Moktan of Makwanpur were arrested with two kg opium and 22 kg marijuana in the capital on Monday. They were made public at a press conference today.

According to bureau chief DIG Thule Rai, they were found active in drugs smuggling for long.

Similarly, other three persons were also arrested with 562 ampoule of banned drugs and 408 tablets of Naitrepam from Nagdhunga in the capital today. The arrested are Laxman Shah and Jogindar Sahani of Bara and Gopal Shrestha of Kavrepalanchok. RSS
