PARSA — The floods have affected over 9,000 people in Parsa district, police confirmed.

The flood-fed river of the district gushed into the human settlement and inundated more than 2,000 households which put over 9,000 people in trouble.

Deputy Superintendent of Police (DSP) at District Police Office, Parsa, Chakra Raj Joshi shared that the inundation following incessant rain caused complete damages to 850 houses and partial damages to 950 houses in the area.

He further informed that those rendered homeless after inundation have been taking shelter at nearby community schools. RSS
