RAJBIRAJ — The house of Federal Socialist Forum Nepal (FSFN)’s central vice-chairperson and Madhes Province Coordinator Renu Kumari Yadav was vandalized today in a dispute on selection of candidates for the third phase of local elections.

A group of disgruntled cadres of the FSFN vandalized her house and made attempt to set it ablaze while leader Yadav was in conversation with party cadres at her home at Rajbiraj of Saptari, informed SP at Saptari District Police Office, Mukesh Kumar Singh.

The irate cadres also vandalized chairs and tables and protested the decision taken on candidates by burning tires before the main gate of her house.

The cadres had resorted to vandalism to protest leader Yadav’s move to remove the name of Surendra Yadav nominated as the candidate for the post Chairperson of Belhi Chapena rural municipality and declare her close supporter Chitraranjan Yadav to the post. RSS
