KATHMANDU — Deputy Prime Minister and Minister for Education Gopal Man Shrestha has expressed government’s commitment towards fully implementing the constitution.
At the Dashain greetings exchange and interaction programme organized here today by the Nagarik Ekata Samaj, DPM Shrestha said, “For full implementation of the constitution, the local level election has been held and the government has intensified its full efforts to conduct the parliamentary and provincial assembly elections”.
Stressing the need of applied and vocational education for the development and prosperity of the country, he spoke the urgency of creating employment opportunities in Nepal for 5.5 million Nepalese youths in abroad.
He also noted that the Samaj could play spectacular role to rope in the Nepali who have been relegated to backburner due to discrimination based on class, ethnicity and region.
Samaj Chairperson Sitaram Karki said the organization has been playing crucial role to unite the Nepali people scattered in different parts.
