KATHMANDU —  In a meeting of the Legislature-Parliament today, Health Minister informed that so far 381 patients of Influenza H1N1 virus ‘A’ type are found and 10 have succumbed.

According to the Health Minister, a doctor who was infected with this seasonal flu has been already recovered and the virus has not yet taken an epidemic turn. “The Ministry is fully committed to taking all elaborative measures to control the disease.”

Arrangements have been made for free treatment from health institutions across the country for flu, common cold, and coughing, he said, urging lawmakers, media and all stakeholders concerned to contribute from their respective sides to create awareness on the disease and take it under control. RSS
