JAJARKOT — Medical teams on Thursday fanned out across the Jajarkot district after a story was carried out by the National News Agency (RSS) on the outbreak of the viral fever.

The team carrying medical supplies and set for a long haul headed to Triveni Nalgadh – 5 in the first round of the trip, according to District Health Office.

The health workers led by CPN (Maoist Centre) District Committee member, Prashant Sharma, will also arrive at the Bhandari Gaun, Muli and Pokhral among other villages. The team will at first provide emergency services for those in dire straits, and broaden their service base in consideration of the scenario at hand, District Health Office, Jajakot’s Ram Bahadur Thapa shared.

Former Home Minister, Shakti Bahadur Basnet, told the RSS that additional human resources would be mobilized from the centre in the affected district after taking into account the ground situation. A vehicle and five health workers have been dispatched in the first phase. RSS
