IED defused in Dhading election office


DHADING — A bomb disposal squad of the Nepali Army defused a socket bomb planted at the District Election Office premises here today.

The DEO officials had informed the police after they found a suspicious object in their office this morning. The bomb disposal squad from the Devidutta Battalion in Gajuri has neutralized the Improvised Explosive Device.

The office is being operated from a rented house in Puchar bazaar in Dhadingbesi after its building was damaged in the 2015 earthquake. An investigation is being carried out to find out those who planted the bomb, Deputy Superintendent of Police Ram Bahadur KC said. RSS
