LUMBINI — Is India imposing third blockade on Nepal? The Nepal-bound transportation of goods has been affected with a tough screening of transport vehicles en route to Nepal from India along the Nepal-India border checkpoint at Sunauli.
The tough scrutiny by Indian SSB at Belhiya–the second largest customs checkpoint of Nepal–has unnecessarily frustrated Nepali passengers and transport operators. In the name of security, the Indian SSB has come up to the no-man’s territory to scrutinize the vehicles and passengers on the way to Nepal.
