Indian ambassador Puri urges RJPN to take part in second-phase polls


KATHMANDU – Indian Ambassador to Nepal Manjeev Singh Puri on Tuesday has urged Rastriya Janata Party Nepal to take part in second stage of the local election.

The Indian envoy said so in a meeting with top leaders of the party Tuesday morning, according to a leader who was present in the meeting. Puri had called the leaders at the embassy in Lainchaur and discussed about the upcoming elections and other current issues.

Five of the six leaders of the chairman council of Rastriya Janata Party, excluding Raj Kishore Yadav, were present in the meeting.
