KATHMANDU — Indian Minister for External Affairs, Sushma Swaraj, has said that the Indian government has already instructed the concerned authority to open all doors of the dams including Koshi Barrage over Saptakoshi River in Nepal to avert unpleasant incidents in the wake of flood and inundation.

In a telephone talk held between Deputy Prime Minister and Minister for Foreign Affairs Krishna Bahadur Mahara and Indian Minister Swaraj on Sunday, Minister Swaraj apprised so to DPM Mahara, according to DPM Mahara’s Press Coordinator Hari Lamichhane.

During the talk, Indian Minister Swaraj also expressed grief over the loss of lives and properties incurred by floods in Nepal and she pledged utmost support to Nepal in this hard time, Press Coordinator Lamichhane. RSS
