BHAIRAHAWA — An Integrated Check Post (ICP) will be set up at Belahiya along the Nepal-India border.

Indian Ambassador to Nepal, Manjeev Singh Puri, on Friday spoke of preparations to establish the ICP to streamline customs management amidst an interaction on Nepal-India Border Problem and Trade Facilitation which took place here on Friday.

He added that efforts were continuing to import electricity from Indian market to Bhairahawa as has been the case with Raxaul and Parawanipur. The Indian envoy also pledged that the Indian government’s support in promoting Nepal’s trade would continue. RSS
