KATHMANDU — KATHFEST 2019 is the annual festival of Kathford International College of Engineering and Management starting from January 13 & 14. This event will be focused on showcasing art, technology, and innovation. Variety of students from different faculties like Engineering, IT, BBA and +2 will be participating in the event. This annual event will be conducted for two days and will consist of different competitions.
The theme for Kathfest 2019 is “Solving the problems of Nepal”. With the aim of solving the ongoing problems in Nepal through technology, management, and engineering, Kathfest 2019 is being planned. Nepal is facing lots of problems lately such as unemployment, lack of health education and services, lack of proper education, corruption, lower agricultural productivity, women insecurity and so on. This event is targeted to solve these problems in Nepal. So, projects related to Agriculture Modernization, Women
Security, Job Opportunities, Corruption Free Society, Quality Education, Sustainable Development, Green Energy and other miscellaneous topics are expected to be showcased by various students and their groups from all over Nepal. Different problem-solving projects with different innovative ideas and approach are welcomed in the KATHFEST 2019.
The major objectives are:
● To provide an effective approach for students and others to be familiar with growing technology.
● To provide a platform for the students to showcase their projects.
● To use art and technology to tackle the burning issues of Nepal.
● To make students interact with different people and companies.
