KATHMANDU — A government lawyer from Kavre Court has informed Kathmandu Tribune that the court is seeking a specialized person to look into the pending matters of the alleged pedophile, Peter Dalglish.

The lawyer also said that he isn’t sure when the court will give its final decision. Mr. Dalglish has been languishing at the Kavre jail for more than six months now.

While visiting the victims’ families in Kartike, Nagarkot they refused to talk with Kathmandu Tribune and said they had nothing to do with the case. One of the families told that they feared their lives and the air in the local area didn’t seem right for them. Both the fathers of the two boys also refused to meet and a source informed Kathmandu Tribune that they were being coerced and threatened by external sources to keep mum.

The case remains a puzzle for the time being. While the CIB Nepal initially informed that the Royal Candian Mount Police (RCMP, Canada) had informed them, a sourced told that a person visiting a school where Dalglish taught had tipped them off.

Another source also informed that Peter’s lawyer had hired a private investigator from the King International Advisory Group (http://www.kinginternationalgroup.com/). The source also added that the investigator was already in Nepal and trying to assess the situation and help Dalglish in any possible manner.
