KATHMANDU — Indian football club Mohun Bagan has signed Nepali striker Bimal Gharti Magar for the rest of the I-league season. According to Goal.com, the club had multiple options but it decided to go with Magar.

Bimal Gharti Magar’s inclusion in the team comes within the few days of goalie Kiran Chemjong’s signing by Minerva FC.

Magar is replacing the out-going Sony Norde for an undisclosed amount. The Nepali prodigy has given trials to a number of European clubs and is the youngest Nepali player to represent the Nepal national football team.

Magar is set to leave for Kolkata today and will start practicing from 29th. Mohun Bagan is one of the oldest and reputed football clubs in India.
