SANYA, CHINA — In a double scoop tonight, Miss Nepal Shrinkhala Khatiwada secured two accolades in the final week of Miss World 2018: She won the Multimedia award for her activities which include over 100 million votes on social media and for preparing a compelling video to promote the tradition and culture in the city of Sanya as a tourist destination. Shrinkhala was also named first place winner in the Beauty with a Purpose project for the work she has done to provide water for a remote village.
Lining up with a confirmed place in the final which will be held on Saturday 8 December, Shrinkhala commented: “Thank you so much for voting for me and liking my content and sharing it. This is for my country who have been supporting me and loving me.”
