KATHMANDU — National Muslim Struggle Alliance spokesperson Muhammad Shahid Ali has said that the Muslim community was still deprived of constitutional rights.

Speaking at a program here today, he urged the government to guarantee their constitutional rights as they were still fighting for the same. He said that they were struggling for the nationality and national welfare in the country, as a patriotic community.

Muslim Students’ Struggle Committee coordinator Rahimmullaha Minya and Islamic Federation general secretary Abulkalam Minya urged the government to prepare the governmental work procedures, including the announcement of a date for examinations with due respect to the festivals of the Muslim community.

They said that they were still waiting to exercise full democracy in the country. RSS
