CHITWAN — CPN (UML) leader and former Prime Minister Madhav Kumar Nepal has said strengthening nationality, democracy and ensuring social justice were the main agendas of his party.

Speaking at programme to congratulate the newly-elected representatives of local bodies in Chitwan on Tuesday, leader Nepal added that the UML will carry these agendas forever.

He added that the party was always in favour of Madhesi, minorities, Dalit and the underprivileged groups.

On the occasion, leader Nepal urged the elected representatives to work for the betterment of the locals.

As many as 308 representatives were elected from the party in various local levels in the district.

Speaking in the same programme, leaders Kashinath Adhikari, Krishna Khanal and Krishna Bhakta Pokharel urged the elected representatives to meet the aspirations of locals. RSS
