KATHMANDU — Nepali Congress (NC) leader Prakash Man Singh has pressed for the NC to win the trust of people by making public aware of the development works done by the NC-led government.

At a programme organized by Nagarjun Municipality in Kathmandu today for exchange of greetings on upcoming festivals-Dashain, Tihar and Chhat, leader Singh urged the voters to cast their ballots to NC’s candidates in the upcoming elections.

The elections to the House of Representatives and State Assemblies are slated for November 26 and December 7 respectively.

Singh, also former Deputy Prime Minister, urged them to acknowledge the efforts of NC in promulgation the new constitution during its leadership.

Singh also drew the attention of the NC’s leadership towards the growing frustration among its cadres as he argued that the party leadership failed to function as per the spirit of the organization.
