KATHMANDU — Nepal defeated Hong Kong by four wickets in today’s match of ACC U-19 Eastern Region Cricket Competition held at Terdthai Cricket Ground, Thailand.

Invited to bat first after losing the toss, Nepal won the match after losing six wickets in 24.1 overs. Hong Kong had put forth the target of 83 runs before Nepal by losing nine wickets in the determined 35 overs.

With this victory, Nepal has a high chance of entering to semi-final. Tupraj Das secured highest 27 runs for Nepal while Rajan Magar and Bishal Bikram KC made 17 runs and 11 runs respectively.

Similarly, Sunil Bhandari remained not out with 11 runs. Nepal’s Pratis GC and Ajay Kumar Loniya claimed two wickets each towards bowling while Narayan Joshi and Nikhil Kumar Singh took each one wicket. RSS
