KATHMANDU — Nepal cricket team celebrating its top second position in the ICC World Cricket League Division and thus qualifying for the 2018 ICC World Cup Qualifier returned home on Saturday evening.

Former Minister of Sports Daljit Shreepaili and Nepal Cricket Association office-bearers were at Tribhuvan International Airport to welcome the squad.

Talking to media briefly, team captain Parash Khadka said days ahead were more challenging for Nepali cricketers and Nepal should get ready for facing such challenge by sorting out disputes seen in the domestic cricket sector.

Nepal is facing the host country Zimbabwe for its first match in the Qualifier kicking off on March 4. The Nepali team is confident of better performance in the match.

As per the ICC match schedule, Nepal will play its second match with Scotland on March 8, face Afghanistan on March 10 and meet Hong Kong on March 12.
