KATHMANDU —  Nepal has been elected the board member of the International Cooperatives Association (ICA) after 20 years of its becoming member of the Association. Nepal became the member of the Association in 1997.

The general assembly of the ICA global congress held in Kuala Lumpur, Malaysia elected Omdevi Malla, the vice-president of the National Cooperative Federation as board member. Former lawmaker Malla is active in the cooperatives movement in Nepal for long. She was also the first woman vice-president of the National Cooperative Federation. RSS
