DOHA, QATAR — Buddha Lama from Pokhara has won the Nepal Idol Grand Finale, becoming the winner of Nepal Idol. Nepal Idol winner Buddha beat Nishan Bhattarai and Pratap Das to win the grand prize at the Asian Amphitheatre, Grand Mall in Doha.

Nishan Bhattarai and Pratap Das became the first and second runner-up. The Nepal Idol Grand Finale faced technical difficulties and the show was postponed for few hours.
Nepal Idol winner Buddha Lama will take away a Mahindra KUV100, 20 lakhs Nepali rupees, and 15 lakhs worth album and contract. The runner-up, Nishan, will receive 15 lakhs and the third winner, Pratap, will get 10 lakhs respectively.
