CHITWAN — CPN (Maoist Centre) chairman Pushpa Kamal Dahal ‘Prachanda’ has said Nepal’s communist movement has reached a historic turning point and soon form a single powerful communist party.
Addressing the joint programme organized by Nepal Democratic Darai Association and the Darai National Liberation Front in Bharatpur today, he said only the communists could protect and promote the rights and interests of all the oppressed and downtrodden communities, and that only a powerful government of the communists safeguard the nationality and work for the country’s development.
The Maoist Centre chairman said the Darai community has played an important role in the movements for political change and the days were near when the dreams and aspirations of all the oppressed communities would be fulfilled.
Former Prime Minister Dahal is contesting the House of Representatives election from Chitwan constituency-3.
Candidate towards the proportional representation category under the House of Representatives election, Mangal Ram Darai, former lawmaker Santuram Darai, among other community leaders urged the voters to vote for the leftist alliance’s candidates in the elections and ensure their victory. RSS
