KATHMANDU — Former king Gyanendra Shah has been admitted to the Thapathali-based Norvic International Hospital for medical treatment.

The former monarch reached the hospital this morning for treatment after a heart problem was detected in course of a regular medical checkup, Phani Raj Pathak, the former king’s personal secretary, told RSS.

A team of physicians led by Prof Dr. Yadav Bhatta is attending on former king Shah, it is learned. RSS
