New Acts for civil personnel’s deployment, adjustment to be unveiled

KATHMANDU — Minister fo General Administration Tek Bahadur Basnet has said that the civil personnel should be available in the office round the clock if it was required for the country.

Releasing a journal ‘Public Service’ published by the retired special class government officials’ executive council in the capital city Friday, Minister Basnet said that the government employees should work with new zeal and enthusiasm to be the nation’s servants in real sense.

On the occasion, the Minister reminded that the Ministry of General Administration was working day and night to send the officials in the local levels as well as bring Civil Servants’ Adjustment and Civil Service Act for the federal, province and local levels.

During the programme, Chairman of Public Service Commission Umesh Mainali said that the officials should be deployed in the concerned levels in accordance to the adjustment.

Likewise, former chief secretary Damodar Gautam said that officials incapable of working should be retired.
