KATHMANDU — Nepal Purba Rastra Sewak Loktantrik Party has merged into the CPN (UML) at a programme in the UML’s central office, Dhumrabarahi on Monday.

On the occasion, CPN (UML) Chairman KP Sharma Oli said that UML was aspiring to garner two-thirds majority for the nation’s prosperity. “The country should be taken to the path of prosperity without any delay,” Oli said.

During the programme, Oli said that Nepal should work for its own interests by keeping friendly and equal relations with both the neighbouring countries.

Saying that new relations should be established with the neighbouring countries by changing the old mentality and behaviour, Oli urged the neighbour (India) not to inundate Nepali land and shift the border pillars.

Likewise, UML Vice-Chairman Bamdev Gautam said the entire party joining the UML would help in strengthening national unity at a time when the imperialists and capitalists were attacking the UML.
