KATHMANDU — The Nepal Telecom has launched a new inquiry and customer service centre.
Launching the service here on Friday, State Minister for Information and Communications, Tapta Bahadur Bista expressed the belief that although Nepali people are fully confident towards the services provided by Nepal Telecom, the centre would further help the Nepal Telecom to be closer to the customers.
State Minister Bista said that customers would be satisfied with the telecom services only after importing new technology and this would also boost revenue collection.
Similarly, Communications Secretary Mahendraman Gurung said that the centre would help to address the complaints of customers as well as to transform various challenges surface before the Nepal Telecom as opportunity.
Likewise, Managing Director of the Telecom, Kamini Rajbhandari, said that the centre would have a significant role to address complaints and inquiries of customers and to make the organization responsible to them.
The service used after dialling 197 has come into operation through new structure from today itself, according to Nepal Telecom.
One who uses wire line can put his/her complaint and other necessary information related to Telecom service by dialling 198 and the customer using GSM or CDMA mobile by dialling 1498. All these service are available at free of cost. RSS
