BHAKTAROUR — The main opposition CPN (UML) chair and former Prime Minister KP Sharma Oli has expressed his ire over the latest expansion of the Cabinet.

Speaking in a programme organized to welcome newcomers in his party in Changunarayan in the district, chair Oli questioned over the need of jumbo Cabinet (56 members) in a poor country.

He added that the government has turned a deaf ear to the Election Commission’s frequent remarks regarding the violation of election code of conduct.

Ex-PM Oli blamed the government of plotting conspiracies to postpone the elections by raising unnecessary issue over the form of the ballot paper for the federal and state parliamentary elections.

He further said that the UML will not tolerate any activities so as to postpone the elections.
