INDIA — Prime Minister Sher Bahadur Deuba arrived in Bihar from Andhra Pradesh on Saturday evening.
PM Deuba who is currently on a five-day State visit to India visited the famous Hindu temple Tirupati Balaji of Andhra Pradesh. He performed puja at the Temple.
He was welcomed by a Minister for Housing of in Andhra Pradesh at Tirupati Airport.
PM Deuba is accompanied by his spouse Dr. Arzu Rana Deuba, Minister for Culture, Tourism and Civil Aviation Jitendra Dev, lawmakers and high-level government officials.
Similarly, in Bihar, PM Deuba was welcomed by Education Minister of Bihar, Krishna Nanda Verma, at Gaya Airport of Bihar.

Meanwhile, Chief Minister of Bihar Nitish Kumar paid a courtesy call on PM Deuba. The meeting was held at Royal Residency Hotel.
During the meeting, the discussion was held in details on the floods in Tarai region of Nepal and some parts of Bihar and subsequent loss of human lives and properties.
The need for concerted efforts from both sides was pointed out during the meet for effective control of the damages from the floods, said Foreign Secretary Shankar Das Bairagi.
Also stressed at the meeting was to make effective the activities of two-country joint mechanisms relating to the Koshi and Gandak pacts till the sustainable solution of the problem of the flood.
On the occasion, PM Deuba thanked Chief Minister Nitish Kumar for his facilitation on the power trade agreement between Nepal and India.
Minister Dev who was also together during the meeting informed that an agreement was made to hold separate conferences relating to hydrology and floods in Patna of India, and in Kathmandu, Nepal has the participation of related experts and government officials from Nepal and India.
Also present during the meeting were Foreign Secretary Bairagi, and Nepali Ambassador to India, Deep Kumar Upadhyay.
PM Deuba also attended a banquet dinner the Chief Minister of Bihar hosted in his honor on Saturday.
PM Deuba is scheduled to return home tomorrow. RSS
