CHAUTARA, SINDHUPALCHOK — Chief Election Commissioner Dr Ayadhee Prasad Yadav viewed that the upcoming House of Representatives and Federal parliament would be historic.
He also urged voters to exercise their franchise without any fear, as there would be smooth security arrangement. CEC Dr Yadav was speaking at a press conference in Sindhupalchok Tuesday.
He also informed that of the total 67 types of elections materials, some have been sent to the respective districts, and the rest would be dispatched soon.
Earlier the same day, Dr Yadav inspected election materials at the district election office and the office of chief election officer.
On the occasion, he directed chiefs of the offices of the district administration office, and chiefs of security agencies to make the elections peaceful, and launch a crackdown on incidents of violation of the election code of conduct.
The total 144 polling centers and 185 polling stations have been established for the district (of the total number of polling centers, 31 have been marked as sensitive). RSS
