GAUSHALA — Nepali Congress (NC) general secretary Shashanka Koirala has claimed that the Province no. 2 remains as the ‘vote bank’ of the party.

Addressing a party program at Bardibas here today, the NC leader said the NC had a good support in the province, adding that it had to limit to the second position in other provinces during the local-elections due to betrayers by part insiders themselves.

The NC general secretary took the time to calls on the voters in the Province to elect the party with a full majority in the third-round of local elections as he said the NC was capable to address the voices for the amendment to the constitution and demands of other agitating parties.

On the occasion, 150 people who joined the party by quitting other political parties were welcomed. RSS
