Rastriya Prajatantra Partya promises to develop all municipalities as smart cities within a decade

KATHMANDU – Rastriya Prajatantra Party (RPP) has unveiled an ambitious manifesto for the upcoming local election promising to make all the municipalities across the country smart cities replete with modern amenities within 10 years.

The party has included 16 major points in its manifesto that expresses a commitment to develop each rural municipality into a self-dependent and well-managed urbanizing village by fulfilling the basic necessities of the locals.

The manifesto that was announced by party chairman Kamal Thapa amidst a press conference at Himalaya Hotel in Lalitpur has also included strengthening nationalism, conservation and promotion of Hinduism, social reforms and social security, education, health, housing and food, poverty alleviation and job creation, agriculture, development of commerce and industries, infrastructure development and other issues.
