KATHMANDU — Solid waste resulting from the cereals seeds and other offerings made by the devotees who came to observe the Bala Chaturdashi festival has been collected and managed today. The cleaning of the Pashupatinath temple premises that began on Saturday night ended this morning.
Four truckloads of solid waste was collected and managed in the cleaning activity carried out jointly by the Pashupati Area Development Trust, Bagmati Cleaning Mega Campaign and the Khems Cleaning Limited, according to campaigner Govinda Kafley.
Meanwhile, the cleaning and colouring of the Pashupati area with technical support of Khems Cleaning shall continue until the upcoming Mahashivaratri festival, according to its proprietor Khem Sharma. RSS
