KATHMANDU — Nepal’s stock market witnessed a trading of shares worth 2.4 billion this week. A total of 4,499,810 units of share of 171 companies were traded, according to the Nepal Stock Exchange (Nepse).

The trading decreased by 32.24 percent as compared to the last week, when 6,584,590 shares worth Rs 3.5 billion belonging to various 180 companies were traded.

By transaction, Nepal Investment Bank Limited stood first, with its transaction of Rs 120 million.

Likewise, by transaction and number of shares traded, Gunras Life Insurance Company Limited Founder has taken the first place, with its 175,000 shares traded. RSS
