BUTWAL — The 20th edition of the Tilottama Football Gold Cup is all set to take place in Butwal-11, Devinagar from March 8-17.

As usual the Gold Cup is to be held this year under the aegis of District Football Association Rupandehi, it was shared at a press conference organized in Butwal on Friday.

The winner of the tournament will receive Martyr Gold Medal with cash prize of Rs 777,777 and a certificate while the first runner-up will get cash prize of Rs 444,444, informed Association Chairperson Dirgha Bahadur KC.

Total 13 A Division Clubs including nine Nepali, two Indian and one Bhutanese professional football clubs are taking part in the tournament to be held at ANFA Technical Centre.

The man of the series will receive a motorbike while Rs 21,111 each will be provided to the best defender, best goal keeper, best mid-fielder, best forward and best coach, the host informed.

The Association has increased the award amount to Rs 777,777 this time from Rs 555,555 of earlier edition, said Association Vice-Chairperson Bhupendra Bahadur Kshetry. RSS
