KATHMANDU — A team of entrepreneurs led by Vietnam’s Honorary Consul General for Nepal Rajesh Kaji Shrestha and Nepal-Vietnam Chamber of Commerce and Industry (NVCCI) President Deepak Malhotra held a meeting with Vietnamese Ambassador to Nepal Ton Sinh Thanhho and discussed on expanding the trade tie between Nepal and Vietnam.

During the meeting held at Indian Capital of New Delhi today, Consul General Shrestha spoke of the need to prioritize such discussions so as to further consolidate the economic and trade ties between the two countries.

The meeting also dwelt on matters relating to easing the visa process, according to the press statement issued by the NVCCI based in Durbarmarg, Kathmandu.

Similarly, NVCCI President Malhotra urged the Vietnamese Ambassador for considering an increase on investment in Nepal’s agriculture, tourism and information, and technology among others.

The Vietnamese Ambassador pledged to collaborate with the NVCCI to further enhance economic relations between Vietnam and Nepal.

He also expressed his commitment to launch programs for expanding tourism and trade between the two countries.

The meeting was attended by Naresh Shrestha, Lokmanya Golcha, and Shivaji Raya Yadav among others. RSS
