RAJBIRAJ — Minister for Culture, Tourism and Civil Aviation, Jitendra Narayan Dev, cast his vote at a polling centre of Narendra Memorial Secondary School in Rajbiraj municipality this morning.

There are only 424 voters for the centre.

Similarly, Minister for Population and Environment, Mithila Chaudhari, exercised her voting rights at the polling centre of Public Bindeshwori Higher Secondary School of Rajbiraj.

In this centre, a total of 1,364 people are to exercise their voting right.
Hanumannagar Tense

Meanwhile, tension ran high at Hanumannagar Kankalini municipality-9 after the cadres of two political parties clashed each other.

Dispute emerged among the cadres of Rastriya Janata Party Nepal and Rastriya Prajatantra Party in course of voting, said the Area Police Office, Hanumannagar.

In view of the situation, the security arrangement is beefed up, said the District Police Office.
