KATHMANDU — Out of 136 local levels of eight districts in Province No 2, where third phase of election was held on September 18, vote count of 63 local levels has been announced so far.
As per the details provided by to Joint Election Operation Centre at the Election Commission at 4:00 pm today, Nepali Congress candidates won the election in 21 local levels, while CPN (Maoist Centre) and Federal Socialist Forum-Nepal in 12 each, Rastriya Janata Party (RJP)-Nepal in eight, CPN (UML) in seven, Nepal Democratic in two and Nepali Janata Dal in one.
EC Spokesperson Nabaraj Dhakal said that result of 890 Wards has been announced so far. The EC said that the vote count in all 73 local levels was going on well except in some local levels. RSS
