Ariadna Majewska is a 26-year-old self-made Polish blogger and photographer. She lives in Poznan, Poland. Every day – through words and pictures – Ariadna nurtures her passions, discovers herself, her femininity (more on that later!), and builds long-lasting, meaningful connections.
Here are 29 things that you didn’t know about Ariadna Majewska:
- I collect quotes with passion. I have my own place on the web with a large collection, which only a few closest people know about. When reading books and interesting texts, I often write fragments that have made the most impression on me so that I can come back to them from time to time. I am happy to think about life.
- As a child, I dreamed of being a poet and writer. Being in primary school, I passionately created stories, poems and even books – most of them I still have. In junior high school and high school, I was involved in writing essays and columns, and by the way, I anonymously ran a popular blog where I published my own texts. I still like to play with my language, and pouring my thoughts into paper makes me very happy. I am currently completing my master’s thesis. In the future, I plan to create a novel, a collection of stories and/or poems.
- For many years I also wanted to become an IT specialist. I wrote the first website in the fifth grade, for years I willingly created tutorials, which I shared on the web.Due to the interest in this field, a few years ago I graduated from a two-year computer science at a post-secondary school.
- For about a decade I have not partaken with the camera, with which I immortalize my view of the world. My portfolio (you can see them < here >) is diverse and extensive – no subject of photos is strange to me. In addition to purely artistic photography, I also make commercial photographs, e.g. wedding.
- I have never tried a cigarette. Until recently, I hardly ever touched alcohol (now I do it sporadically).
- About 90% of the food I eat is of plant origin. For several years I have been trying to make my meals as healthy as possible: natural, low processed and made with good quality ingredients. I like to cook and create new dishes, I have a lot of knowledge about healthy eating.
- Previously, I was living a very unhealthy diet — I deliberately put tons of sweets, chips and junk food into myself every day. Surprisingly, I was much slimmer then than now.
- For several years, every day I start with a large portion of mixed fruit or freshly squeezed juices. The dose of vitamins from the morning is a great boost of energy.
- Although you can not see it after me, I do not know anyone who eats as much food as me. Many people can not believe it until they come to dinner with me…
- I love to laugh and approach life with considerable distance. I often joke, and making others laugh makes me happy 🙂
- Despite so many years on the back of the neck (born in ’92), I still have a lot of children – this applies to both personality and appearance.
- I do not paint at all on a daily basis. However, when I decide to makeup, it takes me no more than five minutes to make it and requires only a few cosmetics.
- My favorite blogger is Anna Vershinina from Acid-coke.com, who for years has been intriguing me with her subtle beauty and rich personality, while the blog I read the most is Volantification.pl.
- I have a lot of empathy for me. Instead of evaluating or attacking, I try to understand, so I value it when someone opens up to me and has the courage, to be honest. The agreement and the ability to conduct a conversation are the keys to creating valuable relationships.
- I am fascinated by psychology and social sciences, and especially the possibilities of having knowledge covering these fields. I constantly watch people and analyze their behaviors, on the basis of which I try to figure out what is in their head. I am excited about interpersonal relationships and how the Internet affects them.
- I enjoy the beauty of nature, I willingly immortalize them in the pictures. Being in the bosom of wild nature has a soothing and cleansing effect on me. Like Desmond Morris, I think that big cities are not a natural environment of people, and life in them favors the occurrence of anomalies (although at the same time it is very attractive).
- I prefer to create than to consume, give than to take, be than to have. The feeling that deprived of all things I will still represent myself with something, that becoming “naked” to someone, I will be just as valuable and interesting person is very important to me.
- I love dreaming. My dreams are very exciting, realistic and multithreaded.
- I do not use TV at all. I rarely watch movies – only a few impress me and can make me concentrate to see them to the end.
- I often provoke and evoke emotions, and being in the spotlight can give me a lot of satisfaction. I hate boredom, that’s why I constantly provide myself with new impressions on many levels. Interestingly, earlier for many years, I was a very shy, calm person, keeping on the sidelines.
- I have a strong character, but deep down I am very sensitive and I am easily touched with trifles.
- My head is full of ideas and I regret that I am able to implement only some of them. If I’m serious about taking something, I’m giving my best. I like to challenge myself.
- I strive to be the most optimistic person possible, I try to spread a positive aura around me. I am happy to motivate and support others, I do not accumulate negative feelings and memories.
- I love the atmosphere of old times. Sometimes I have the impression that I do not fit into modern times.
- If I were to indicate the most handsome actors, Brando, Gable, Deląg and Żebrowski would be among them. The most beautiful actresses? Hepburn, Leigh, de Havilland, Belluci, Jolie, Dymna.
- Listening to classical music evokes many emotions in me, I am eager to reach for beautiful literature and poetry, and I am also looking for inspiration in art. I appreciate the works of outstanding individuals.
- If you thought I was going to shopping centres all day long, I must disappoint you. I do not like spending time in this way. I receive most of my clothes as part of a collaboration, and almost all of them I order online. I have so many of them, that now I am much more pleased with the purchase of a valuable book or meeting an interesting person than buying more shoes or blouses.
- I am grateful for all of the experiences that have taken place in my life — I know that they made me such and not a different person.
- I like when you write to me – both comments, e-mails, and other types of messages. Thanks to this, I know that on the other side of the screen are people from flesh and blood, who usually turn out to be extremely interesting. The opportunity to meet a wide variety of people from around the world is one of the greatest things that I’ve gained thanks to running a blog.
