KATHMANDU — Minister for Culture, Tourism and Civil Aviation, Rabindra Adhikari, has stressed on the need for the establishment of hotels that provide quality services and facilities for tourism sector’s development.

Inaugurating the hotel ‘Nepali Ghar’ at the tourist hub of Thamel here on Wednesday, Minister Adhikari suggested the entrepreneurs to provide high – end facilities to its guests and show them the Nepali lifestyle and tradition.

Noting tourism sector’s huge contribution in the country’s Gross Domestic Product (GDP), the minister said investment made in the sector would have multi-dynamic effects.

Hotel’s Managing Director Raju Shrestha said the hotel built in the time span of four years will provide facilities in par with five-star hotels. He spoke of his aim of advancing Nepali art and cultural identities through the hotel business.

The hotel’s exterior is built in traditional Nepali style with a blend of pagoda style in the interior. It is decorated with traditional Nepali style.
