KATHMANDU — The online driving license registration has reopened in Nepal from today. According to the Department of Transport Management, the online registration time is from 6 am to 10 pm.

The firm said that the daily quota is fixed at 5500. The department will provide quotas on Sunday, Monday, Tuesday and Wednesday based on biometric data.

If the service recipient fails the exam on the date provided for the driving license exam, the applicant can fill up the online form again after 15 days.

Clients who fail the written test can re-register the form online after 90 days.

The online applicant must click the Check Status button to find out the status of the online application and license.

The query for the result of the written test has to be sent to 33001 by typing WT <space> Applicant ID on the mobile.

Similarly, to know whether the smart card is printed or not, you have to send LC <space>  Applicant ID to 33001.
